What's new with the band Tool?

Listening to Tool the band and their performance of Pushit can leave one speechless. It wasn't long ago that I was driving around the mountainous topography of Breckenridge, Colorado, listening to these amazing musicians. The colorful terrain was a perfect backdrop for the ebb and flow of their encapsulating performance and when singer Maynard James Keenan beckoned, "...and if I say I might fade like a sigh if I stay, you minimize my movement anyway...I must persuade you another way!!" I was literally at the peak of the mountainside in our escape. It was a perfect moment - just cruising around with my girlfriend and taking in our surroundings escaping the normality of the lives in Chicago we had left behind for a week.

To this day I'm still not sure what the song is about. Is it about a parent not wanting the responsibility of fatherhood? A loved one that believes they know what is best for you? It doesn't really matter, nor did it matter for us to take away a particular meaning from driving around and listen to the band Tool who had captured a perfect performance of the song "Pushit." Ultimately, we all have to make decisions for ourselves.
